Kulim Plantation Retreat was held on 8-10th February 2022 at Le Meridian, Putrajaya. Kulim’s Non-Executive Director, Tuan Haji Fawzi Ahmad, led the retreat and involved over 60 participants consisting of Senior Management, Regional Controllers, Estate and Mill Managers, and representatives from various Departments. The retreat was organized based on the ideas mooted by Senior Management on the need to escape, think and plan the next steps moving forward.

This retreat is also an ideal platform for participants to discuss, brainstorm, and share knowledge and experiences with the aim to enhance, improve and realize the Plantation performance in 2022. Various series of workshops were conducted with topics such as “Production cost, Impact of chemical usage vs Cattle Grazing; Harvesting Operation; Mechanisation & Productivity Driven; Manuring; and Milling Efficiency & Product Quality”. The retreat has also allowed participants to discover innovation while generating new ideas and initiatives to propel Kulim’s operations into glorious future endeavors.
