The delegation from JCorp led by Y.Bhg. Datuk Syed Mohammed Syed Ibrahim visited the Southern Greens Project at Sedenak on Tuesday, 13 March 2022.
The delegates were greeted at Agronomist Office, Sedenak by En. Mohd Faris Adli Shukery, Managing Director of Kulim, and several other senior management including Kulim’s Chief Operating Officer, Tn. Haji Fairuz Ismail.
The program started with a visit to the project area at P01 and was briefed on the physical layout of the project, smart-farming essential features, food management technology, integrated pest, and disease management system. The delegates then visited Sedenak Biomethane Plant and were briefed on the plant specification, our CO₂ production potential business, the process flow before the ended program at Sedenak Bio Compost Plant site.
Meanwhile, the Southern Greens project is part of Kulim’s foothold to go beyond just being an oil palm player and become a leading agribusiness player in the region. The project will be incorporating more robust sustainable practices towards the fulfillment of Kulim’s ESG agenda.
