He then served in the Economic and International Division of the MOF as Assistant Secretary. Following this, he was the Principal Assistant Secretary for the Public Finance Section, MOF.

In 2004, he was appointed Head of Planning, Research, and Policy, MOF.

In 2006, he became the Head of Section, Government Procurement, MOF. He then served as the Senior Adviser to the Executive Director (SEA Group) The World Bank. He then joined the Ministry of Defence as Deputy Secretary-General (Policy).

Abdullah Abu Samah

He was a partner in its Audit Division from 1997 until his retirement in 2020. He was seconded to KPMG London for two years between 1993 and 1995 to focus on the financial services sector.

He has over 32 years of experience in servicing clients from various industries including oil palm plantations, oil & gas, banking and finance, construction and property development, hotel and hospitality, manufacturing, industrial products, trading, investment holding companies as well as large multinational companies.

In addition, he was also involved in reviews of prospective financial information for purposes of IPOs, right issues, and bond issues. He has significant experience in due diligence reviews in connection with the proposed composite scheme of arrangement and restructuring scheme.

He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Upon graduation, he joined the Executive Scheme in Kulim Group at Ulu Tiram and was initially posted to Ulu Tiram Estate and then transferred to Ulu Tiram Manufacturing Company Ltd. He attended various courses held by the Rubber Institute of Malaysia (RRI).

Towards the end of 1980, he transferred to the Plantation Division at Ulu Tiram Estate as Senior Assistant Manager. He was then seconded to a subsidiary company of Kulim and established an infrastructure for Yayasan Pelajaran Johor (YPJ) from 1985 through 1988.

He transferred back to Ulu Tiram Estate in late 1988 before joining Austral Enterprise (a subsidiary of Island & Peninsula) in 1989 and subsequently made a Planting Advisor in 1991.

In 1992, he established and spearheaded the Plantation Division for YPJ. He was the National Vice Chairman of the Incorporated Society of Planters and State Vice Chairman of the Royal Johor Planters Association.

He retired from YPJ Oil Palm Estates Sdn Bhd in 2013. Currently, he conducts advisory services for plantation visits for an established GLC plantation company.

He is also a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

With 35 years of experience since obtaining his ICAEW qualification, he has held leadership positions in the finance functions of renowned organisations such as FGV Holdings Berhad, Mofaz Group of Companies, and Boustead Group of Companies.

Furthermore, he served as the Chief Executive Officer at Proton Edar Sdn Bhd and Motorsports Knights (M) Sdn Bhd. Notably, he played a pivotal role in the Initial Public Offering (Listing) of FGV Holdings Berhad on Bursa Malaysia in 2012, contributing as a key member of the due diligence working group, and holding roles as a team member and team leader in the Global Roadshows.

His diverse career has spanned various industries, including palm oil, property and construction, automotive and motorsports, aviation, and fast-moving consumer goods trading and distribution, both in Malaysia and overseas.

In 2018, she joined the East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC), a statutory body under the purview of the Ministry of Economy as the Head of Business Development, Corporate Strategic Planning. In this role, she developed the strategy roadmap and implementation plan for Agriculture, Tourism and Manufacturing sectors and led numerous key strategic projects pertaining to tourism and food security initiatives for the East Coast region.

Her diverse career has spanned various industries, including tourism, telecommunications, property and construction, rail transportation, telecommunications and agriculture, both in Malaysia and overseas.

Syed Aiman Kifli Syed Jaafar

Qualification & Experience:
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Diploma in Training and Development from Auckland College of Education, New Zealand, and a Diploma in Industrial Relations from the Malaysian Employers Federation.
He brings with him vast experience in Human Resources Management at operation and strategic levels from his previous employment at the Prime Minister’s Department, Toyota Group, Nestle, and several GLCs.

He joined Kulim as Head of Human Resource Division on 24 April 2017 and was seconded to JCorp in January 2020 to head the Group Human Resources before he resumed the same position at Kulim in September 2020.

He also sits on the Board of several companies within Kulim Group.

Maziah Ahmad

MAZIAH MAHMOD

Head of Digital & Technology Division

Qualification & Experience:
She graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University Technology Malaysia.

She started her career with JCorp as an Executive on 16 May 1993. She was appointed as Deputy Manager of the ICT Development Division in 2000 and was promoted to Manager in 2006.

She was later seconded to Sovereign Multimedia Resources Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of JCorp before returning to JCorp in 2014 as Deputy General Manager of the ICT Development Division. She left JCorp as General Manager of the ICT Development Division before assuming her current role at Kulim.

She also sits on the Board of several companies within Kulim Group.

Lokman Izam Abd Aziz

Qualification & Experience:
He graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Sheffield Hallam University, the United Kingdom in 1992.

He began his career with KPMG Peat Marwick Consultant in the Tourism and Hospitality department before joining Renong Group of Companies as Business Development Manager.

He brings with him vast experience in Marketing, Product, and Channel development at the operation and strategic levels from his previous employment with The Coca-Cola Company in the Asia Pacific and Amway South East Asia. He joined the company as Head of Commercial Division on 15 October 2021.

Mohd Nasir Md Saad

MOHD NASIR HJ. MD SAAD

Head of Governance Division

Qualification & Experience:
He graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) majoring in Strategic Management from the University Technology Malaysia (UTM).

He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Malaysian Institutes of Accountants. He is a highly motivated and results-oriented governance professional with a solid background in audit and risks management in various industries.

He started his career with RHB Bank Berhad as a Senior Internal Auditor, Group Internal Audit in August 1996 before he join Amfinance Berhad as Assistant Manager, Inspection in May 2004.

He was the Manager of Internal Audit at Bernas in July 2005 and became the Vice President of Group Internal Audit at Satang Holdings Berhad in December 2006. He was the Head of Group Internal Audit of MK Land Berhad in March 2009 prior to his appointment as the Head of Internal Audit & Risk Management of Zelan Berhad in 2011.

He was once seconded to lead the Accounts and Finance Department of Zelan Berhad from February 2018 to Jun 2019.

He joined the company as the Head of Governance Division on 1 March 2022.
