With a clear aspiration to become a leading agribusiness player in Asia by 2050, Kulim (Malaysia) Berhad is poised for its next phase of strategic growth. The Group’s transformation journey is anchored on three core business segments: Plantation, Agrofood, and Digitalisation.
The Plantation segment is led by Johor Plantations Group Berhad (JPG), which owns and operates oil palm plantations and mills primarily in the state of Johor. JPG is actively involved in the cultivation of oil palm and the processing of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) into Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel (PK). In line with evolving industry expectations, JPG is strengthening its focus on sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence, with the vision of becoming a next-generation integrated palm oil company.
The Agrofood segment, managed by Kulim Agrofood Sdn Bhd, is undergoing rapid expansion in both agro-farming as well as food and services industry. This division plays a key role in diversifying KULIM’s agribusiness portfolio while contributing to the national food security initiatives.
Supporting the Group’s growth ambitions through technology and innovation, the Digitalisation and Trading arm is spearheaded by Farmbyte Sdn Bhd. This entity drives digital transformation across the Group’s value chain, enhancing operational efficiency and enabling data-driven decision-making.
With strong foundations in place and a forward-looking strategy, KULIM is committed to delivering sustainable value for its stakeholders and positioning itself as a major force in the region agribusiness landscape.
