JOHOR BAHRU, 13 October 2020: Kulim (Malaysia) Berhad (Kulim) welcomes the appointment of Encik Mohd Faris Adli Shukery as its new Managing Director effective 1 October 2020.

Faris, 48, holds bachelor and master degrees in law from the United Kingdom and has more than 20 years of experience in the plantation, property, and financial services sectors. He has held roles in business development, corporate planning, communications and operations.

Prior to joining Kulim, he was the Regional Chief Executive Officer, Sabah Region in Sime Darby Plantation. His other employment included stints at Sime Darby Oils, Sime Darby Property, Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad, AmMerchant Bank, and Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.

Faris replaces Executive Director, Tuan Haji Zulkifly Zakariah, who retired on 16 September.
